Record of Complaint

The Board investigates complaints against OTs and OTAs alleged to have violated North Carolina General Statute 90, Article 18D, the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy Practice Act, and North Carolina Administrative Code, Title 21, Chapter 38, the Rules and Regulations of the Board. If the Board determines that an OT or OTA has violated the statutes or rules, the Board may impose disciplinary action on the OT or OTA. The Board does not intervene in fee disputes nor does the Board have the authority to order monetary damages. If you have these concerns, you should consult an attorney.
